Join us for an online workshop that explores the role of public art in society. Hear from Brooke Kamin Rappaport, Deputy Director and Martin Friedman Chief Curator at Madison Square Park Conservancy. The talk will be followed by a discussion of works of art in the Jewish Museum’s collection originally created as art for public spaces, including a new work by Lawrence Weiner currently installed on the facade of the Jewish Museum.
While this program is presented free with RSVP, we appreciate your support of educator programs at the Jewish Museum. Please consider making an optional donation to help support workshops for teachers.
Educators may receive 1.5 CTLE hours.
Professional development workshops are made possible with endowment support from the Gershon Kekst Family.
Free with RSVP. Zoom link will be sent with email confirmation.
